Benefits of CEP
Okay not gonna lie I was not big on technology coming into this class. I had never really done blogs before and it was something that I put on the back burners and forgot about. However as I am sitting here commenting on others blogs responding to my own I have seen what I have been missing. There is so much conversation going on topics that just interest me and I can not help but just speak my mind about. Not only just with using blogs Google docs have changed the way I do group projects. I have never used Google docs however since taking this class I have been using them for all my groups projects it makes it so much easier to collaborate with one another. Also some of the websites we have used in class i have introduced to my CT and I can see the benefits of using all the stuff we are learning in class in the real world. I am definitely going to be taking away more from this class than I thought that I would be.

This post definitely applies to me! I never really considered myself to be a "techno savvy" person, but I really did think I knew quite a bit about computers. Until, that is, I took this course. I really appreciate the material from the class, and I feel like I have bookmarked ever website we have ever visited. One thing I did not think I would like, were these blogs. Little did I know, I would either be reading, writing, or commenting on one almost everyday. I totally agree! I will be taking sooo much more from this class, than I thought!!
ReplyDeleteI too feel like this class has introduced me to so much in terms of technology. Just like you, I too have shared different sites with my CT and I think it is great to be able to collaborate with her and other teachers in the building as a result. With the information that I already have, I feel like it will make it easier to be able to continue to learn and explore new tools and technology. This class has really influenced my views of technology and the role it can play in the classroom. I am just so glad that I had the opportunity to take this class and to be able to take away the information that I did.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I am not the most tech-savvy person, myself but this class has been very helpful! I could see myself incorporating a lot of the things we have learned into my future classroom. I have learned a lot and will continue to read and comment on other blog posts in the future. There are so many people in this class who have already experienced teaching, and I am just starting, so I like having access to their blogs, and I also like the fact that they can comment on some of my blogs and pass their knowledge on to me.
